We are committed to creating an inclusive work environment that celebrates diversity.Candidates must be able to travel to various clinics to meet the needs of the patients and providers and support the clinic's hours (Monday - Friday, 8 am to 5 : 30 pm).  Schedules are provided weekly and are based on the provider's clinic patient and surgery schedule. Responsibilities

• Obtains patient history to include chief complaint, history of present illness, patient and family history of both ocular and general illnesses, history of allergies, and current medications.
• Accurately performs and documents visual acuity, confrontational visual fields, evaluation of motility, pupillary function tests, dilation, and ocular tonometry.
• Provide compassionate patient care throughout the clinic flow
• Performing opening and closing duties; inventory count, prepping drugs as needed, sterile instruments.
• Maintains cleanliness in exam and procedure rooms.
• Maintains back up levels of supply stock in exam and procedure rooms.
• Provides back-up to the ophthalmic photographer performing OCT’s
• Maintains a smooth flow of patients to the physician, altering the test sequence as needed.
• Assist with clinical research as needed.
• Troubleshoots equipment as necessary; projector, tonopen, VA equipment
• Performs other duties as assigned
