The News Subscription Analyst will play a critical role in shaping the insights, financial understanding, and business analysis that fuel our subscription strategy and feature development. This role will partner closely with business leadership and cross-functional teams to assess opportunities, guide planning, and help translate data into clear business decisions. Your day-to-day will combine analytical rigor, cross-functional collaboration, and thoughtful storytelling. You'll help evaluate the financial and subscriber impact of new ideas, track business performance, and support planning across the product and partnerships landscape.

Responsibilities

• Analyze subscription KPIs, performance trends, and business metrics to uncover drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to support product planning and strategic decision-making.
• Prepare business reviews, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Evaluate the projected impact of new features, content additions, licensing initiatives, and subscriber experiences.
• Partner closely with the team to translate business needs into actionable insights for Product, Engineering, and Partnerships.
• Support the development and refinement of roadmap proposals by assessing financial implications and subscriber outcomes.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to support pricing strategies, retention programs, and feature investment decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners in the multiple offices, with up to 25% travel for planning sessions, workshops, and on-site collaboration.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,800 and $210,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
