Bond Optics is looking for a highly skilled Optical Technician III to drive execution on complex optical fabrication tasks. This senior-level position is perfect for someone who thrives in a hands-on, high-accountability environment and wants to work on optics used in defense, space, and cutting-edge semiconductor systems.What You’ll Do
- Lead setup and operation of advanced optical fabrication equipment including CNC and interferometric tools.
- Own complex polishing and testing processes with minimal supervision.
- Adjust and troubleshoot fabrication processes to meet tight surface accuracy and cosmetic specs.
- Mentor junior technicians and provide hands-on training and technical guidance.
- Collaborate on process development and tooling design for challenging geometries.
- Work with manufacturing leadership to prioritize and schedule work effectively.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
