The Position

Arrowhead is seeking a scientist / senior scientist to join our Discovery Chemistry group. The candidate will be a key member of drug discovery teams and may have opportunity to lead drug discovery programs.

Responsibilities

• Design and synthesize novel compounds for biological testing, and / or develop conditions for the preparation and isolation / purification of novel investigational compounds.
• Characterization and identification of compounds using modern analytical methods including HPLC, LCMS and NMR.
• Present research findings to project teams and governance bodies and prepare technical reports
• Maintain a high level of productivity in the lab
• Leads scientific projects
• Determines and executes research scope, strategies and timelines for project delivery

Wisconsin pay range $105,000—$120,000 USD
