Northrop Grumman is seeking a Database Administrator / Principal Database Administrator with PostgreSQL or similar Relational Database experience at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. This DBA will be an active part of a team of Database Administrators who will share in the administrating and advising of the Postgres environment for the NASIC partners.

This requisition may be filled at a higher level based on the qualifications listed below.

Basic Qualifications for an Associate Database Administrator :

• Active Department of Defense Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance
• IAT Level II certification such as SecurityX (formerly CASP+) or Security+
• One of the following :

High school diploma or GED equivalent with 4 years of relevant experience

Basic Qualifications for a Database Administrator :

High school diploma or GED equivalent with 6 years of relevant

Preferred Qualifications :

Salary Range : $61,200.00 - $91,800.00Salary Range 2 : $73,900.00 - $110,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business.
