Meter Reader

Responsibilities

: Read and record meter readings for electricity, water, and gas on a regular schedule.

Inspect meters and investigate discrepancies in readings to ensure accurate data collection.

Report any issues found with meters, including malfunctions or damage, to the appropriate supervisor.

Utilize handheld devices or mobile applications to input data efficiently.

Provide excellent customer service while interacting with the public in diverse environments.

Adhere to safety standards and protocols during fieldwork.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Basic knowledge of utility services and equipment is a plus.

Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to walk long distances and navigate different terrains.

Bend, stoop, and crouch as necessary to access meters

Pay Rate : $16.00 / hour #ISS
