Power Platform Developer

Overland Park KS

Key responsibilities

  • Design and build automation : Create automated workflows (flows) in both the cloud and on desktops to handle tasks like data collection approvals and integrations.
  • Integrate systems : Connect different applications and services using out-of-the-box and custom connectors to create end-to-end solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize : Identify and fix issues and ensure that automated solutions are scalable secure and efficient.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders : Work with business users to understand their needs and identify areas for process improvement and automation.
  • Develop custom components : For advanced solutions a developer may need to build custom connectors use Azure Functions or embed workflows into other applications.

Required skills and tools

  • Microsoft Power Automate : Proficiency in both cloud flows and Power Automate Desktop flows for RPA is essential.
  • Integration knowledge : Experience with APIs and connectors to link different services.
  • Data handling : Skills in manipulating and transforming data from various sources.
  • Scripting : Knowledge of Power Fx or JavaScript can be beneficial.
  • Other Power Platform tools : Experience with related tools like Power Apps and Dataverse is often valuable.
