Deliver Meals to Seniors in Your Community

By delivering meals to seniors in San Diego County, you can help ensure our seniors remain independent. Our volunteers are doing so much more than just delivering nutritious meals – they provide social interactions for our seniors who may be isolated or homebound. Our volunteers also conduct critical safety checks while dropping off meals to ensure our seniors are safe. Meals on Wheels San Diego County could not serve over 3,000 seniors a year without the help of our gracious volunteers.

Volunteers pick up meals at a designated location close to their homes or businesses, then log into the Mobile Meals app which will navigate them to each senior home on an optimized route. Volunteers have the opportunity to have brief, friendly interactions with seniors as well as deliver birthday gifts and care packages that Meals on Wheels provides. Meals on Wheels also delivers free cat and dog food to seniors' pets.
