What's your day like?

As a new Lab Coordinator at Fourth Street Clinic, you can expect your day to be both dynamic and rewarding. Your schedule will run Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 6 PM, providing a steady rhythm to your week. You'll kick off each day by overseeing lab operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Expect to collaborate with a dedicated team to manage patient samples, perform quality control checks, and maintain accurate records.

You'll also be the go-to person for coordinating lab supplies and equipment, making sure everything is in tip-top shape. Communication is key, as you'll engage with clients and staff to address any inquiries and promote a positive experience. With a focus on high performance, every day will bring new challenges and the chance to make a meaningful impact in our community!

What you need to be successful

To thrive as a Lab Coordinator at Fourth Street Clinic, you'll need a blend of practical skills and personal attributes. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential for your role in transporting samples when necessary. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, and you should be able to pass a background check, as you'll be working with vulnerable populations. If you have 2 years of phlebotomy experience under your belt, that's a big plus!

Familiarity with state licensing requirements for CLIA-waved testing will give you a leg up in managing day-to-day lab operations. Previous experience supervising laboratory processes will enhance your ability to lead and guide your team effectively. Lastly, a second language can be an invaluable asset in our diverse community, promoting better communication and connection with those we serve. • Management of daily laboratory operations
