Position: Tech - Medical (ASCP/REG)
POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Technical Coordinator, the Tech - Medical (ASCP/REG) assumes the responsibility for performing waived and non-waived complexity analysis of patient specimens for diagnostic purposes, and related procedures in the areas of assigned responsibility under the philosophy, policies and procedures established by the hospital and the Department of Laboratory Services. Such responsibilities encompass not only the
internal functioning of the Department, but also the integration of the Department into the overall functioning of Northwest Texas Healthcare System. The Tech - Medical (ASCP/REG) supports an organizational culture of Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence standards to all customer groups.
