Job Title : Pharmacy Technician (Morning Shift)
Schedule : Full-Time, Monday–Friday (6 : 00 AM–2 : 30 PM)
Hours : 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime or weekend work as business needs require

Position Overview
The Pharmacy Technician plays a key role in supporting daily pharmacy operations by accurately retrieving, preparing, and packaging medications for pharmacist review. This position ensures workstations remain fully stocked, inventory remains up to date, and prescription orders are processed efficiently. In addition, the technician may assist with patient outreach regarding shipped orders and general customer service inquiries.
This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment requiring strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work within multiple computer systems to ensure accurate and timely delivery of medications to patients.
Primary Responsibilities
Retrieve medications from stock and accurately count, prepare, and package orders for pharmacist verification
Assist with packing and shipping completed prescription orders
Maintain drug inventory and automated dispensing units
Replenish workstation supplies, including vials, caps, labels, and other materials
Remove outdated medications and assist with general inventory management
Support customer service needs, including occasional patient outreach regarding shipped orders
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Active New Jersey Pharmacy Technician License
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks
Preferred Qualifications
Pharmacy or prescription data entry experience
National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)
Previous experience in a mail-order pharmacy setting
Strong mathematical competency in measurements, fractions, and decimals
Proficient computer and organizational skills
Ability to meet production and quality goals
