Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin, is seeking a BC / BE Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our pediatric GI practice within our Pediatric Specialties department.

You would be joining a collegial group with great support and resources to provide the best care for the pediatric population we serve.

Practice :

Wide range of procedures in our modern Endoscopy lab

Close collaboration with Pathology, Radiology, Pediatric Surgery, Child life specialists, nutrition support, Speech Pathology and Pediatric psychologists

Well-established Telemedicine practice with the opportunity to do outreach

Opportunities for Clinical research

8 BC Adult Gastroenterologists to collaborate with and assist with advanced therapeutic procedures

The Department of Pediatrics consists of 6 pediatric hospitalists, approximately 20 general pediatric providers (includes physicians and NP s), 3 NICU physicians, and 3 PICU physicians. Gundersen Health System has over 13 specialty areas that care for children. Housed within our pediatric specialties department is allergy / asthma / immunology, cardiology, endocrinology and diabetes, gastroenterology, genetics, learning and development, and child life. Pediatric inpatients are cared for primarily by a hospitalist on a beautiful new inpatient ward, which includes a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
