LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Gastroenterology MD in West Rockport, Maine, 04865!
Provider must be available at least one week per month through 2025 and into 2026.

Requirements
Day call coverage (7AM–4PM) : calls may come from ER or Hospitalists for urgent procedures (e.g., food bolus, EGD, GI bleed management).
Endoscopy procedures in OR; may include one clinic day weekly.
Average 14–16 patients / day in clinic.
Fully staffed OR with CRNA + Anesthesiologist per case.
No nights, weekends, or after-hours call.
EMR : Epic
ERCP not required (advanced skills welcome but not mandatory).
Credentialing : ~90 days
Travel : Paid in full
Procedures
Lower GI : Endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy
Upper GI : Diagnostic, with Biopsy, with Banding of Varices, with Foreign Body Removal
Therapeutic procedures preferred but not required
Board Certified in Gastroenterology (ABMS or AOA) – Required
Active Maine license or IMLC LOQ – Highly Preferred
BLS & ACLS – Required
Must be available for at least one week per month (long-term preferred)
COVID + Flu vaccination – Required
