Our Jackson, WI plant is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team!

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair of all Spring Valley equipment. This maintenance position is an industrial / production setting. This job description is not all inclusive and may change from time to time as deemed necessary by management.

Job Overview :

• Collaborate with Plant Manager, Maintenance Technicians & Safety Coordinator to ensure maintenance and safety related matters are resolved in a timely manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on engines, motors, hydraulics, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines such as hoppers, screeners, mixing machines, bag sealers, and scales.
• Troubleshooting malfunctions by observing mechanical devices in operation
• Fabricating repair parts by using machine shop tools and equipment.
• Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories, placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
• Schedule and coordinate outside companies to perform repairs as needed
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
