Our Needs

We're opening up our 2 bay window tables after years of only seating the omakase counter. You'll also help the 2-3 chefs at the counter serve drinks.

Compensation

We're offering an hourly range of $35 - 40, plus tips

• , relative to one's experience and ability. If you feel what you can provide reflects a wage greater than this range, please let us know. Fairness (for everyone involved) is important.
• Tips : we are service inclusive, so while not everyone leaves a tip atop the 20% service charge, you might be surprised as to how often it happens.

The Job

Our Ideal

Our ideal hire is not necessarily an industry veteran (though that certainly helps). It's someone who is able to be precise, thoughtful, warm and gracious, and manages their time efficiently. So if you're a student who would like to moonlight on weekends until you graduate, that works too.

As much as we value flexibility, Fridays and Saturdays are required.

At this level it’s a small world, so we should all be interested in one another's long-term needs. Perhaps most importantly : this is a great place to work, but it’s not everyone’s last stop in life. For better or worse, reputation matters in the culinary world. We are Michelin recommended since we opened our doors. Our Google and Yelp ratings are 5 and 4.9, respectively.
