As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Cedar Park Regional Medical Center, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best - providing quality care to our patients. We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Surgical / Telemetry team on the night shift in a fulltime position!

Our Medical / Surgical Unit is a 36 bed unit focused on providing a high level of direct and individualized care to treat patients with a variety of general and specialized surgical procedures, including orthopedic, bariatric, urology, and cardiac. General medical population to include respiratory, endocrine, nephrology, neurology, cardiology and wound care.

Job Duties :

• Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care
• Assists physicians during examinations and procedures
• Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse
• Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills
• Relies on experience and judgment to perform a variety of tasks and accomplish goals
