The Seasonal Landscape positions supports grounds maintenance activities that keep preserves and facilities safe, clean, and welcoming for visitors. This role includes operating equipment, maintaining outdoor spaces, and assisting with preservation-focused landscaping practices

What You'll Do

• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and a variety of power and hand tools.
• Perform routine grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, weeding, litter removal, and edging.
• Assist with tasks such as soil and compost installation to support healthy landscapes.
• Help maintain facility appearance through cleaning duties including garbage removal and gutter upkeep.
• Support daily opening and closing procedures for preserves and facilities.
• May assist with volunteer events and special programs, including setup and takedown.
• Follow all safety protocols and help maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.
• Work collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide excellent service and ensure positive visitor experiences.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support grounds operations.
