THE OPPORTUNITY :

You will lead forensic investigations for community association transitions and construction claims, providing expert testimony in depositions and trials. This role offers the perfect blend of technical engineering work and legal consulting, allowing you to make a significant impact while growing professionally.

WHAT YOU'LL DO :

  • Lead forensic investigations to assess structural conditions and identify deficiencies
  • Serve as an expert witness in depositions, mediations, and courtroom proceedings
  • Create detailed field reports and comprehensive expert testimony documentation
  • Review architectural / engineering drawings, specifications, and project manuals
  • Oversee material testing and structural analysis to support your expert findings
  • Collaborate with legal teams to develop effective case strategies
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the firm's technical knowledge base

    • WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED :

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural / Civil Engineering
  • 4+ years of experience in architectural / engineering consulting
  • Previous expert witness experience is essential
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • OSHA 10 Certification (preferred)
  • Valid US Driver's License
  • Excellent project management abilities
  • Detail-oriented with superior analytical skills
