Industrial Carpenter

MOR PPM Inc. seeks an Industrial Carpenter in Lakeland, FL.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

Cut, fabricate and install industrial buildings and other structures according to specifications.

Job will entail working in diverse settings to produce steady and functional infrastructures and products.

A carpenter is an individual with great hand dexterity and an eye for detail.

Measure, layout, build forms, pour concrete and finish project.

Ideal candidate will also have good knowledge of wood properties and other carpentry materials and masonry work.

Being able to work with little supervision while following all health and safety standards is essential.

Qualifications :

Must possess and maintain a valid State of Florida driver's license.

Must possess and maintain a valid telephone number.

At least one-year of form carpentry experience - job will provide all tools - may bring tool belt, tape measure, etc.

Power Tools will be provided.

Carpenter, Hand Tools, are required.

Physical Demands :

Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign.

May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above.

Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas.

Must have full range of motion consistent with age.

Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders.

Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises.

Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces.

Safety / Steel toe shoes are required. Fire resistant (FR's may be required).
