Conducts regular safety audits and inspections to proactively identify and address hazards. Provides safety training and education to employees, reinforcing a culture of accountability and awareness. Maintains accurate records of safety-related incidents, audits, and training activities. Collaborate with the Risk Control Manager to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks. Prepares reports on safety performance and recommends improvements to enhance workplace safety. Promotes a culture of safety and continuous improvement across all operational teams. Manages administrative tasks related to safety programs, including documentation and reporting. Supports the execution of warehouse operations by ensuring efficient material flow, inventory coordination, and logistics alignment. Collaborates across departments to maintain smooth inbound and outbound processes, including scheduling and transportation communication. Conducts regular facility walkthroughs to uphold safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards. Drives workforce productivity by optimizing labor and equipment utilization. Plays a key role in onboarding and training new hires, ensuring a consistent and engaging introduction to company operations and expectations. Bilingual required Strong general knowledge of shipping and warehouse operations, with prior supervisory experience preferred. Effective leadership and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret computerized reports. Analytical skills and attention to detail. Basic computer proficiency : experience with word processing and spreadsheets is helpful. Main responsibilities :
Onboarding & Training :
- Leads the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless introduction to company culture, policies, and operational procedures.
- Delivers training programs focused on warehouse operations, safety protocols, and role-specific competencies.
- Partners with HR and department leaders to maintain and update onboarding materials and training documentation.
- Tracks onboarding progress and provides coaching and support to new employees to ensure successful integration.
- Facilitates refresher and ongoing training sessions to reinforce best practices and introduce new systems or processes.
- Serves as a primary point of contact for new hires during onboarding, fostering engagement and addressing questions.
- Evaluates training effectiveness through feedback, performance metrics, and operational outcomes, recommending enhancements as needed.
