Who You Are:
You’re a positive and enthusiastic people-person, who may just so happen to have a passion for healthy food and great service! As the Accounting Analyst, you will be doing a variety of finance related tasks. If you enjoy fast-paced environment, career-growth, entrepreneurial thinking, innovation, and an occasional silly food pun, we want you!
What You’ll Do:
Prepare and post journal entries in NetSuite
Participate in the month end close process, analyzing results, and ensuring accuracy
Create and update reports, dashboards, and design and track KPIs.
Be involved in various projects as required and prepare ad-hoc analysis for Finance Manager as requested
Prepare and edit PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets
Working closely with the Finance Manager facilitating the day-to-day financial operations of the company
Maintain vendor/item records, W9’s and contracts in Cashflow360 and NetSuite
Connects to various internal and/or external data sources to acquire data
Discover data issues, find solutions, and recommend actions to prevent future failures
Analyzes sales and financial results by collecting, monitoring, and studying data
Develops/modifies reports for operations and finance based on changing business needs
Improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to Finance Manager
Reconciles transactions and recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data as well as conducting comparative analyses and correcting data as needed
Other duties as assigned
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, data analytics, or related field.
2+ years of previous data analysis experience required.
Demonstrated strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet demanding deadlines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and self-motivated learning abilities
Experience with NetSuite, Microsoft Office (with strong excel experience), Microsoft Access experience a plus!
