Senior Desktop Support Engineer | Financial Services Boston, MA (Hybrid) Z $120K + Bonus
A global investment firm is seeking a Desktop Engineer to join its Boston-based infrastructure team. This is a hands-on role supporting approximately 350 users across international offices, offering exposure to a wide range of technologies and direct engagement with business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide end-to-end technical support (Tier 13) across desktop, application, and infrastructure environments
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues; own service tickets through resolution
- Support and maintain Windows 11, Active Directory, SCCM, Citrix, and Azure environments
- Build and image laptops; contribute to automation and process improvement
- Participate in a light on-call rotation (1 in 5 weeks) with global support coverage
Candidate Profile :
45+ years of hands-on desktop support experienceStrong communication and customer service skills; technical aptitude is important, but people skills are essentialExperience in financial services or professional services environments preferredFamiliarity with Microsoft technologies; scripting and cloud certifications are a plusComfortable working an 8am4pm shift, three days per week on-site in downtown BostonWhy Apply :
