Product Engineer-Semiconductor

A senior / mid-senior candidate with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Semiconductor Wafer Fab automation solutions, possessing hands-on expertise in SECS / GEM standards.

• Comprehensive understanding of Fab integration architectures, including Factory Automation, Middleware, Equipment Integration, and Recipe Automation.
• Preference will be given to candidates having held leadership positions in a Fab with the required experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Semiconductor Factory Automation Standards (SECS / GEM, GEM300, and EDA) with a detailed understanding of various aspects within SEMI standards.
• Practical experience in Wafer Fab (Front-End) automation applications and equipment automation, preferably within the .NET framework (C#, VB, etc.).
• Capability to collaborate with Fab teams to integrate new and existing Fab equipment using available documentation.
• Over 5 years of experience in an IT Services / Factory Automation or Semiconductor Foundry environment relevant to the skills required.
• Detailed understanding of Semiconductor Equipment integration architecture involving MES, APC, SPC, middleware, etc.
• Familiarity with semiconductor processes such as Lithography, Etching, CMP, Deposition, etc.
• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to engage with Wafer Fab engineers and users to understand their requirements.Good to Have :
• Experience working in a real Fab environment.
• Experience in consulting and leading engagements in Factory Automation or Manufacturing Execution Systems.
• Awareness of the Semiconductor industry value chain, including Wafer Fabs, Probing, Assembly, Final Test, and Packaging.
• Knowledge of project evaluation and estimations.
• Hands-on experience with any leading Semiconductor-specific MES Systems (Preferably AMAT PROMIS / FAB300 / MES300 or IBM SiView).
• Experience with other protocols like RS232, OPC-UA, FTP, etc.
