Field Operations Supervisor

The Field Operations Supervisor position will manage, train and oversee dispatch teams, confirm shift coverage and manage customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day operations activity and teams, and ensures the department is reaching goals set forth by leadership.
• Assists the Operations Manager / Director of Operations with communicating and explaining new directives, policies, or procedures to teams.
• Assists Operations Manager / Director of Operations with improving customer service and satisfaction through policy and procedural changes.
• Partners with operations team to solve and communicates active driver and client issues.
• Escalates client and driver issues as necessary to Operations Manager / Director of Operations.
• Proactively manages dispatch boards for coverage, OTP and scanning compliance and addresses gaps performance discrepancies in real time with dispatch and drivers.
• Oversees shift changes and handoff including start / end of shift team meetings / communications.
• Reviews, validates and sends client status reports proactively per client expectations.
• Coordinates team schedule / support to ensure appropriate coverage for client activity.
• Manages customer complaints and solves in real time.
• Communicate driver compliance, training and reinforce performance standards.
• Identify areas of driver shortages, overloaded drivers and additional TSA drivers.
• Manage team performance and develop team members for successive responsibility.
• Manage team schedules for coverage.
• Other duties as assigned
