Customer Service Representative - Automotive Recall Support

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our automotive support team. This role involves managing high-volume inbound calls related to airbag recalls, warranty inquiries, and technical troubleshooting. Candidates must be comfortable navigating multiple systems and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Handle 30-40 inbound calls per shift, assisting customers with recall scheduling, dealership information, and radio code troubleshooting

Document customer concerns accurately and create cases for resolution or escalation

Provide clear, accurate information and dispatch cases to appropriate departments when needed

Support settlement-related inquiries with professionalism and attention to detail

Use multiple screens, software platforms, and processes to assist customers efficiently

Collaborate with team members to share feedback and contribute to continuous improvement

Meet or exceed performance metrics including call handling time, customer satisfaction, and resolution rates

Required Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience in a call center or customer service role

Strong computer navigation skills; ability to work across multiple systems

Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM

Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Automotive or dealership experience is a plus, but not required

College degree preferred; equivalent work experience accepted

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.50 / hr.
