The Operations Retail Distribution Manager will lead distribution operations and report into the Sr. Operations Manager' s both in TN and CA. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with experience in a high-volume, fulfillment environment who excels in fast-paced, metrics-driven operations.

This position oversees end-to-end warehouse and retail distribution activities, with a core focus on inventory accuracy, stock movement, workflow efficiency, and loss prevention. The manager will ensure the smooth execution of inbound, outbound, and inventory control processes, including receiving, put away, cycle counting, replenishment, order picking, packing, and shipping.

In addition to operational execution, this role is responsible for staffing coordination, performance accountability, and maintaining clear communication between the distribution center and corporate leadership. Success in this position requires a strong sense of ownership, initiative, and data-driven decision-making, along with the ability to lead teams, resolve conflict professionally, and drive continuous improvement.

The Operations Retail Distribution Manager is accountable for delivering on departmental goals related to safety, quality, productivity, compliance, and retail fulfillment service levels, while actively partnering with cross-functional teams across corporate including the People Team, general operations and retail channels to support evolving business needs.

What You'll Be Doing :

Lead daily distribution and warehouse operations , including inbound, outbound, picking, packing, shipping, and retail / e-commerce fulfillment to ensure speed, accuracy, and service level alignment.

Develop, implement, and monitor inventory control procedures , overseeing cycle counts, variance resolution, stock transfers, and shrink reduction to maintain accurate perpetual inventory.

• Optimize warehouse flow, slotting, replenishment, and space utilization , ensuring efficient product movement, stock availability, and adherence to retail packaging, labeling, and ticketing standards.

Monitor KPIs and operational metrics (accuracy, throughput, inventory integrity, productivity, order compliance) and report performance trends to corporate leadership.

Drive process improvement and operational excellence , identifying gaps, reducing waste, enhancing fulfillment speed, and implementing corrective action plans.

Serve as the primary operational liaison with corporate, retail operations, supply chain, customer service, and finance , ensuring clear communication and alignment on inventory and fulfillment strategies.
