[job_card.job_description]Prepare, stage, set up, and perform startups and shutdowns of hardware (e.g., racks, hard drives, switches) following detailed instructions, checklists, and standard protocols. Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting to quickly identify issues and replace faulty components. Decommission hardware for simple changes and refreshes (e.g., memory upgrades, OS rebuilds) with minimal guidance. Communicate, report, and escalate incidents according to established procedures. 12 years of experience in Helpdesk, Desktop Support, or IT hardware roles. Strong technical aptitude and eagerness to learn. Reliable, committed, and proactive go-getter attitude. Ability to work night shifts (12-hour schedule as listed above). Previous experience in a data center environment.
Data Center Technician Night Shift
Location : Northlake, IL 60164
Shift : Night Shift B 12-hour shifts
- Option 1 : ThursdaySaturday
- Option 2 : WednesdaySaturday
Rate : $27-32 / hour
Type : 6 month Contract to Hire
