[job_card.job_description]Work 12-hour night shifts from 6 : 45 PM to 7 : 15 AM Every other weekend requirement (Friday, Saturday, Sunday counted as weekend) Holiday work required as part of permanent staff rotation First to float when needed Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required, trauma experience preferred Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS Patient ratios of 2 : 1 to 4 : 1 Handle approximately 250 patient visits per day Work with 24 beds and no trauma bays Use Cerner PowerChart EMR system Dress code : Blue scrubs for RNs Work with 22 hardwired GE monitors in rooms and at nurses station One day of floor-specific orientation provided Treat patients with STEMI, cardiac conditions, sepsis, ETOH, stroke, DKA, and various acute care conditions Work alongside MDs, PAs, and NPs Support from ER techs, phlebotomists, 24 / 7 respiratory therapy, and 24 / 7 pharmacy Fast track area available but travelers typically work in main ER Must be flexible with shift scheduling Care divided into three parts : fast track, treat and anticipate disposition, and acute care Referral bonus
