Position Overview

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing specialized computed tomography procedures in accordance with established policies, procedures, and professional standards of care. This role requires advanced technical knowledge, sound judgment, and critical thinking skills to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

• Nights, 7p-7a, 3x12s
• Shift differentials available for Night Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for CT procedures, including use of immobilization devices
• Operate CT equipment and adjust technical factors to obtain accurate diagnostic images
• Apply radiation safety and protection principles to minimize exposure to patients and staff
• Adhere to infection control policies and safety protocols
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
• Ensure all imaging meets quality, regulatory, and accreditation standards
• Maintain required licensure and continuing education
• Comply with all federal, state, and professional regulations

Requirements

• ARRT-R certification required
• ARRT-CT certification required
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• State of Nebraska Medical Radiographer license
• One of the following:
  • 1–2 years of CT Technologist experience
  • Successful completion of an approved CT externship
• Strong critical thinking and patient care skills
