Are you an experienced APP looking for a summer locums assignment in beautiful northern Michigan? We're seeking  1-2 skilled Advanced Practice Providers (NP / PA)  for a Cardiothoracic Surgery inpatient role in  Petoskey, MI .

Why This Role Stands Out :

⏰  Day Shift + On-Call Model : Arrive around 6 : 00–6 : 30 AM, typically done by 3 : 00 PM. After that, you’re on Pager call for the rest of the night.

🏨  Inpatient Only : Includes ICU, OR rounding, and vein harvesting.  No clinic duties.

🚗  Complimentary Travel & Lodging : Lodging, mileage, and rental car covered (up to $150 / day with receipts).

🩺  Malpractice Insurance Provided  – comprehensive coverage included.

Position Details :

Start Date :  Around 30 days after acceptance (time for credentialing)

Schedule :  8-hour on-site shifts followed by call coverage until next morning

Call Volume :  Reasonable and manageable; APP takes first call

Must Have :

Active  Michigan License

Board Certification

Vein harvesting experience  (must be noted)

ICU and inpatient experience  preferred

COVID vaccinated

Clean background  – no exceptions

Willingness to provide immunization records (Hep B, MMR, Varicella, TB, TDAP, Flu, COVID)

Additional Notes :

DEA confirmation required at name clear

Local Michigan providers highly preferred
