Position Overview We are seeking a Workers’ Compensation Legal Assistant to join our Greenbelt, Maryland office. This role is ideal for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional who can handle a fast-paced workload while providing exceptional administrative support to our workers’ compensation attorneys. This is a full-time, in-office position working Monday through Friday, 9 : 00 AM to 6 : 00 PM Eastern Time.

Resposibilities

• Manage attorney calendars, including scheduling client meetings, depositions, hearings, and deadlines.
• Prepare, format, and proofread correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents for workers’ compensation cases.
• File legal documents with the Maryland Workers’ Compensation Commission and other relevant agencies.
• Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, medical providers, and court staff.
• Organize and maintain case files in both physical and electronic formats.
• Assist with client intake, communication, and status updates.
• Track important case deadlines and ensure timely task completion.
• Handle incoming calls, emails, and mail, ensuring prompt follow-up.
• Provide general administrative support to attorneys and paralegals.
