This direct hire opportunity seeks a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist specializing in Hematology / Oncology, with expertise in inpatient hospital pharmacy practice. Situated just outside of Fresno, CA, this role focuses on ensuring medication safety and regulatory compliance in a pediatric hospital setting. You will collaborate closely with pharmacy leadership and interdisciplinary teams to develop and maintain best practices grounded in evidence-based medicine and internal data analysis. Key Responsibilities : Lead ongoing evaluation and enhancement of medication management practices to comply with all regulatory requirements. Serve as a patient advocate by supporting medication safety initiatives and regulatory compliance. Update and implement policies and procedures, providing education and training on patient safety and regulatory topics. Collaborate with medical staff and other hospital departments to promote positive change. Utilize experience with Medication Error Reporting Programs (MERP) and work within the EPIC electronic medical record system. Desired Qualifications : Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree (required). Accredited residency program completion (preferred). Current California Registered Pharmacist license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within first 30 days of employment. Additional certifications such as Board of Pharmacy Specialties or ASHP / ISMP Medication Safety preferred. Minimum of five years hospital or related pharmacy experience. At least two years of management experience preferred. Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations, including The Joint Commission standards. Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders including staff, management, and medical professionals. Schedule & Location : Position located in Sanger, California. Full-time, 40 hours per week. Standard Day shift : five 8-hour shifts.
