River Valley Holdings is a family-owned distribution company based in Syracuse, NY, serving retail customers across the northeastern United States. The River Valley family of companies—River Valley Foods, Cavallaro Foods, and Garden Spot Foods—distributes a wide range of specialty dry and frozen grocery items and consumable products out of warehouses in Syracuse, NY.

Position Summary :

River Valley Holdings is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Information Technology to lead our IT function. This position is responsible for delivering efficient, secure, and scalable technology solutions that support all areas of the business—including sales, accounting, warehousing, transportation, and purchasing. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with the ability to guide IT strategy while overseeing day-to-day operations across infrastructure, applications, and data reporting.

Schedule :

• Full-time, Monday – Friday, with after-hours support as needed
