Job Summary
Under general supervision, the Attendance Clerk performs a variety of clerical and customer service duties related to student attendance and recordkeeping. Responsibilities include assisting students and visitors at the counter, issuing re-admit slips and off-campus passes, verifying absences with parents, and maintaining attendance data in a computerized system. This position may assist in supervising the student suspension room or after-school detention, operate standard office equipment, and provide basic first aid or medication in the absence of the school nurse, in accordance with district policy.
