Ongoing Opportunity! We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator for our client in Los Angeles. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the movement of goods, ensuring that shipments are handled efficiently, and maintaining strong relationships with carriers and clients. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have strong communication skills, and possess a solid understanding of logistics operations.

Nightshifts : Wednesday-Sunday 11pm-730am

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor the transportation of goods from origin to destination, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to schedules.
• Communicate daily with carriers, shippers, and receivers to track shipments, resolve issues, and provide status updates.
• Schedule and manage appointments for pickups, deliveries, and returns, including port and warehouse appointments.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry of shipment details, updates, and documentation in the ArriveNow software.
• Verify and update billing information, including accessorial charges, while processing and uploading proof of delivery (POD) documents.
• Act as a point of contact for resolving operational issues and discrepancies that arise during the shipping process.
• Prepare daily and weekly performance reports to track key metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations, enhance service levels, and meet client expectations.
