Position Summary :

As an Orthodontic Assistant at Premier Orthodontics, you'll work chairside with our orthodontist to deliver high-quality orthodontic care and an outstanding patient experience. You'll assist with clinical procedures, educate patients and parents, maintain sterilization standards, and help keep the office running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patient appointments
• Provide chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures (bonding, wire changes, bracket placement, adjustments, etc.)
• Take x-rays, photos, and digital scans as needed (with certification)
• Educate patients and parents on appliance care and oral hygiene
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in practice software
• Manage instrument sterilization and infection control protocols
• Monitor inventory and restock clinical supplies
• Support team members and contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment
• Participate in continuing education and internal training opportunities
