This facility is Richmond's largest delivery center with a 40-bed Level III NICU, featuring a state-of-the-art single-family room NICU environment. The hospital provides comprehensive neonatal services with 24 / 7 in-house coverage and collaborates with on-site pediatric surgery and cardiology specialists.

Job Details :

• Provide exceptional neonatal intensive care in a 40-bed Level III NICU
• Collaborate with a dedicated group of Neonatologists providing continuous 24 / 7 in-house coverage
• Utilize advanced therapies such as HFOV, HFJV, inhaled nitric oxide, and therapeutic hypothermia
• Work alongside on-site pediatric surgery and cardiology specialists to ensure comprehensive care
• Coordinate with a nurse-led neonatal transport team for patient transfers and emergency situations
• Deliver care in a single-family room NICU model that prioritizes family-centered care
• No requirement to cover the newborn nursery, focusing exclusively on NICU patients
• Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and collaborative clinical research
• Contribute to a team culture that values innovation, education, and compassionate family support
• Must be Board Certified / Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
• Board Certification in Pediatrics required
• Virginia medical license or willingness to obtain Virginia license required
• Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred
• Not accepting Locums candidates or visa candidates

Compensation :

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
