Security Officer - Residential Gate Access

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor entrances and patrol residential areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for residents by conducting routine patrols and remaining visible throughout the location. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime Wed 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM Sun 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Monitor and control access to the residential location, verifying credentials of residents, visitors, and vendors according to site-specific procedures.
  • Provide customer service by assisting residents, guests, and vendors with inquiries and directions as needed.
  • Carry out Allied Universal security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies at all times.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
  • Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed, helping to maintain order and provide support during incidents.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
