Join Our Team as an Occupational Therapist!

  • Job Summary / Purpose

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide exceptional therapy services. In this role, you will evaluate, treat, and educate patients to help them achieve their functional goals. You'll play a crucial role in fostering a supportive environment while communicating effectively with patients, families, and team members. Your contribution to teamwork will be valued!

  • Department Description

    • Our Rehabilitation teams specialize in evaluating and treating patients facing injuries or conditions that affect their self-care, physical mobility, or overall independence. You will be part of the acute services at Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital, a community-based critical access hospital, while providing one-on-one outpatient services with therapist-driven treatment times.

  • Experience / Education / Qualifications
  • Active and unencumbered Oregon Occupational Therapist license.
  • Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.
  • Knowledge / Skills / Aabilities
  • Comprehensive understanding of therapy and counseling methods for rehabilitation.
  • Strong business writing skills to convey clinical content clearly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective team collaboration.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team setting and build strong professional relationships.
  • Exceptional time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Demands

    • A variety of physical actions are required for this role :

  • Lifting (up to 40 lbs) and carrying (up to 40 lbs) are common tasks.
  • Ability to climb stairs, kneel, squat, and reach overhead.
  • Strong manual dexterity is necessary for patient care activities.
