Travel RN Job Details

Location : Prince Frederick, MD 20678 (Maryland healthcare jobs)

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : January 5, 2026

Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM), 3 shifts per week

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1,760–$1,890

Unit : Med / Surg, Pediatrics, Telemetry (Level 3)

Patient Ratios : 1 : 6

Weekend Requirement : Yes

Floating : May float to other Med / Surg Telemetry units as needed

Scrubs : Royal Blue

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of recent Med / Surg Telemetry RN experience required; 4 years preferred

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (pending Maryland RN license accepted)

BLS certification required; ACLS preferred

Experience with patient ratios of 1 : 5 or higher preferred

COVID-19 vaccination required (medical / religious exemptions considered)

Ability to work weekends and float between similar Med / Surg Tele units as needed

RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics

Monitor and manage patients with medical / surgical and telemetry needs, including post-operative and COVID-19 cases

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams : Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Social Services, and Rapid Response Teams

Accurately document patient care and maintain compliance with facility policies

Float to other Med / Surg Telemetry units as required

Complete all required modules prior to assignment start
