Responsibilities

• Provide top-level review of federal and multi-state income tax returns for individuals, flow-through entities, corporations, and trusts; and review related income tax workpapers.
• Work closely with clients to advise on income tax issues and related tax planning.
• Oversee planning and scheduling of engagements and work-flow supervision.
• Research complex technical tax issues and provide solutions.
• Lead and train teams of seniors and staff accountants throughout the engagement.
• Ensure quality of work product.
• Communicate progress to partners and serve as liaison between partners and staff.
• Coach and mentor individual team members and participate in performance evaluations.
• Manage firm administrative functions and initiatives such as client billings.

This salary range is specific to the state(s) listed and takes into account the wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions, including skill set, education, experience, licensing, and other business needs. A reasonable estimate of the range for this position is $160,000 to $185,000.
