Job Summary
The Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences (SLHS), University of Colorado, Boulder, invites applications for an assistant professor tenure-track faculty position in interdisciplinary research in oral and / or sign language acquisition, bilingualism, bimodalism, and communication access for Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals, with a focus on research that expands access, improves outcomes, and recognizes the diversity of human communication.As a faculty member in SLHS, the successful candidate will be expected to have a strong record of independent research leading to publications in high quality journals and potential for securing extramural research funding. SLHS faculty are expected to teach and mentor students in the department’s clinical AUD / Master’s SLP / undergraduate and PhD programs, and participate in service.

Salary and start-up are highly competitive and commensurate with experience. Starting Salary range is $85,000 - $90,000. Moving assistance may also be available for the successful candidate.

What We Require
Minimum qualifications : The minimum requirement is a Ph.D. in Audiology, Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences or related fields. Candidates who are ABD (All But Dissertation) will be considered; however, all degree requirements must be completed prior to the start date of the appointment. Candidates must be eligible for the CCC-A or CCC-SLP.
