    • \n\nCT Technologist Qualifications\n \n

  • At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist or Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist\n
  • Proficiency in both CT and Digital X-ray imaging modalities\n
  • Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques, patient positioning, and clinical protocols\n
  • Ability to follow CT scanning protocols and evaluate image quality\n
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with Radiologists and the healthcare team\n
  • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification preferred\n
  • Strict adherence to radiation safety procedures and hospital policies\n

    • \n\nCT Technologist Responsibilities\n \n

  • Position patients and operate CT and X-ray equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety\n
  • Determine appropriate radiographic techniques based on patient anatomy and clinical indications\n
  • Collect and document patient history for Radiologist review\n
  • Review images for diagnostic quality and determine if additional views are necessary\n
  • Perform equipment start-up, shut-down, and routine maintenance procedures\n
  • Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions promptly\n
  • Accurately label and mark images in compliance with departmental standards\n
  • Communicate findings and collaborate with Radiologists regarding normal and abnormal anatomy\n
  • Evaluate CT orders for appropriateness using ACR Appropriateness Criteria\n
  • Maintain strict adherence to all safety, infection control, and operational protocols\n
