[job_card.job_description]Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology Program ARRT Certification in radiology required within 60 days of employment Previous radiology experience preferred Actual starting pay will vary based on education skills and experience. A $4500 sign-on bonus will be offered for select roles payable on first paycheck with a 12-month commitment. Internal applicants are not eligible for the sign-on bonus. Frequentlylift up to 50 pounds independently and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance. Requires the ability to stand walk bend and move continuously throughout the shift. Must be able to frequently perform physical activities such as pushing pulling and reaching. Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents. Auditory ability to participate in phone or video calls clearly. Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e.g. computer phone printer). The Radiologic Technologist will perform quality x-rays per physicians orders while providingexcellent service to patients.
This is a variable position working 32 - 40 hours per week Monday - Friday including one Friday evening per month at our Maple Grove Plymouth and Robbinsdale clinics.
Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health) a group of local medical practices owned and led by its physicians on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.
Essential Functions :
- Perform and develop quality x-rays on designated portions of the body for physicians use indiagnosing and treating illness or injury
- Inform and prepare patients for procedure
- Maintain radiology files including internal and external films
- Prepare clean and stock work area with supplies
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair
- Maintain the necessary precautions for excessive exposure to radiation
- May supply patients with requested x-rays
- Assist provider teams in obtaining imaging from other medical facilities for clinics andsurgeries as needed
- Any and all other duties as assigned
