NOW HIRING : FORKLIFT OPERATOR IN NEWPORT NEWS, VA

Pay : $17–$18 / HR

Shift : MON–FRI, 8AM–5PM

This is a great opportunity for a skilled professional who thrives under pressure and takes pride in safe, efficient equipment operation. Job Responsibilities of Forklift Operators

  • Operate sit-down forklifts and stand-up reach trucks safely and efficiently
  • Use forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse
  • Assist with general material handling and organization
  • Maintain accurate inventory movement records
  • Support team operations while keeping safety and efficiency top of mind
  • Bonus : Turret truck experience a plus, with racking upgrades planned for the near future

Job Qualifications of Forklift Operators

  • 3–5 years of recent forklift operating experience required
  • Valid forklift certification required
  • Experience with sit-down and stand-up reach trucks is required
  • Turret truck experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to stay calm and focused in high-pressure situations

    • Working Conditions & Physical Requirements of Forklift Operators

  • General warehouse environment
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to stand for the duration of an 8-hour shift
