You are an execution-driven Technical Project Manager who thrives at the intersection of software engineering, product development, and operations. You are fluent in technical terminology and code concepts, and the confidence to push teams toward on-time, high-quality delivery.
You excel at turning strategic goals into clear technical requirements— epics, stories, use cases, specs. Ensuring cross-functional teams have the clarity and structure needed to deliver. You are energized by fast-paced, constantly evolving environments, and you bring order, momentum, and accountability to complex engineering-led initiatives.

Role’s Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Plan, execute, and manage technical projects from initiation through deployment, ensuring deliverables are on time, within scope, and aligned to business and engineering goals
- Build project roadmaps, timelines, milestones, and success metrics
- Identify risks early and proactively drive mitigation strategies
- Work with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements, including epics, use cases, and technical specifications for technology projects
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Engineering, Product, Data, Operations, and Business leaders to translate requirements into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specificationsEnsure technical documentation including system requirements and architectureAct as a bridge between stakeholders and teams, translating business needs into actional technical solutionsPartner closely with software engineers and engineering leads; understand terminology, architecture discussion, code-level implications, and technical trade-offsFacilitate collaboration and communication among internal teams, third-party vendors, and delivery partners to ensure alignment and timely execution of project deliverablesExecution & Process
Oversee the progress of product development process, resolving issues, and executing product roadmap deliverables.Lead sprint planning, standups, retros, and stakeholder updates focused on accountability and velocityImplement scalable project management frameworks and toolsSupport teams as needed to complete QA or UAT testing requirements and scenarios, track, and document all bugs and enhancementsStakeholder Communication
Provide clear status updates, dashboards, and executive-level reportingManage dependencies and expectations across the organizationEnsure teams stay focused on high-impact outcomesUtilize project management tools to track progress, manage tasks, and generate reports for leadership and stakeholdersMiscellaneous : Perform such other duties as may be assigned by the Chief Technology Officer and Engineering Leaders
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC)Deep understanding of end-to-end hardware and software release lifecycles, including firmware, embedded systems, cloud services, and application deploymentsKnowledge of systems integration, interoperability, and dependency management across physical devices and digital platformsComfortable working with APIs, cloud platforms, data pipelines, and modern tech stacksAbility to plan, sequence, and execute complex multi-release programs spanning hardware builds, firmware updates, backend services, and customer-facing applicationsProficiency in release readiness reviews, go / no-go decision frameworks, and post-launch retrospectivesAbility to ask smart technical questions and remove delivery roadblocksData-driven approach to tracking progress and performanceBias for action and ownership in ambiguous environmentsStrong facilitator who drives alignment and accountabilityCollaborative, resilient, and solutions-orientedEducation & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field5+ years in Technical Project Management, Program Management, or similar rolesExperience working closely with Engineering and Product teams in agile environmentsProven success delivering complex, multi-workstream initiativesFamiliarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Asana, Monday.com, or similarPMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certificationsBenefits
OnMed provides a competitive salary and benefits package, including unlimited PTO and paid holidays.
The base salary range for this role is $130,000 - $135,000 commensurate with the candidate's experience, plus an annual discretionary performance bonus.
