[job_card.job_description]Provide cardiovascular and vascular surgery call coverage Perform inpatient evaluations, consultations, and rounding Manage emergent and urgent cardiovascular and vascular surgical cases Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including anesthesia, ICU, and nursing staff Aneurysm repair Carotid artery endarterectomy (CEA) and carotid stenting Femoral bypass surgery Fistula creation and management Endovascular and open reconstruction for deep vein occlusions Endovascular therapy for peripheral artery disease (PAD) Treatment of gangrene of the limbs Management of vascular malformations, Nutcracker syndrome, and lymphedema Treatment of venous wounds and varicose veins Board Certified in Vascular Surgery Completion of an accredited Vascular Surgery Fellowship Active Pennsylvania medical license (or willingness to obtain) BLS and ACLS certification
We are seeking a LocumsCardiovascular Surgery Physician to provide overnight and weekendhospital-based cardiovascular surgery coverage in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. Thisrole involves comprehensive vascular and cardiovascular surgical care for adultand geriatric patients in a Level II trauma center with strong OR resources andclinical support.
Assignment Details :
- Shift Type : Overnight hospital-based coverage
- Shift Hours : Approximately 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM
- Weekend Coverage : 2-3 weekends per month
- On-Call Requirements : 24-hour cardiovascular surgery call during scheduled nights and weekends
- Practice Setting : Hospital-based with inpatient rounding
- Trauma Level : Level II
- Operating Rooms : 16
- Average Cases per Day : 2
- Patient Population : Adult and geriatric
