Oncology - Medical Oncology Physician

Client Description :

Our client manages a reputable, nonprofit hospital in Central Arizona that employs over 3,000 doctors , nurses , and other experts working together to provide care to over 7,000 patients across the region. They are taking immediate considerations for physicians w / a background in Medical Oncology to join their clinical practice near Sedona, AZ as an ongoing locum tenens provider. There is currently 1 Oncologist on staff w / a team of 2 MA s , 1 RN , 2 NP s , 1 Referral Specialist , 1 Patient Advocate , and 1 Practice Manager . The position will be for 4.5 days per week . There is call coverage associated with the role. The scheduled on-site Oncologist is responsible for after-hours phone consults starting after 5 : 00pm . There is an answering service that triages calls and then forwards to the Oncologist on call.
