[job_card.job_description]Administer workplace drug and alcohol testing in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Maintain strict adherence to chain-of-custody protocols to ensure specimen integrity and legal defensibility Execute all drug testing procedures in compliance with Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) guidelines and federal regulations Properly document all testing procedures, results, and related correspondence while maintaining confidentiality Coordinate with Medical Review Officers (MROs) and testing laboratories as required Design, schedule, and deliver comprehensive training programs on bloodborne pathogen exposure control in accordance with OSHA standards Provide hands-on First Aid, CPR, and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification training to employees Maintain current instructor certifications and stay updated on the latest emergency response protocols Track employee training compliance and coordinate recertification schedules Develop and update training materials to reflect current best practices and regulatory requirements Coordinate and administer the facility's hearing conservation program in compliance with OSHA regulations Schedule and conduct baseline and annual audiometric testing for employees in high-noise environments Analyze audiogram results and identify standard threshold shifts requiring follow-up Oversee proper fitting, distribution, and training for hearing protection equipment Maintain accurate records of noise exposure monitoring and employee participation Collaborate with industrial hygienists and safety personnel on noise abatement strategies Maintain adequate inventory levels of first-aid supplies, medical equipment, and emergency response materials Conduct regular inspections of all first-aid kits, AEDs, and medical stations throughout the facility Ensure proper storage, rotation, and disposal of medications and medical supplies Calibrate and maintain medical equipment according to manufacturer specifications Coordinate with vendors for equipment servicing, repairs, and replacement Manage budget for medical supplies and equipment purchases Maintain comprehensive and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Generate reports on workplace injuries, illness trends, and occupational health metrics Prepare and submit required regulatory reports to OSHA and other governing agencies Document all health and safety activities, training sessions, and program outcomes Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis as needed Collaborate with Human Resources, Safety, and Management teams on occupational health initiatives Participate in safety committee meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts Stay current with changes in occupational health regulations, standards, and best practices Provide health education and wellness program support as needed Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall health and safety mission Position requires availability during standard business hours with potential for emergency call-back Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, hazardous materials, and emergency medical situations Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds Work environment includes both clinical / office settings and manufacturing floor environments Associate degree in Medical Emergency services or related field or equivalent work experience, Required 3 years in emergency medicine, Required Manufacturing environment, Preferred Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certification, Required Health, Dental, Vision, Employee Assistance Program Paid Vacation, Holidays, and Your Birthday off Generous Employee Discount on home furnishings Professional Development Opportunities Ashley Wellness Centers (location specific) and Medical Tourism Telehealth 401(k) and Profit Sharing Life Insurance Honesty & Integrity Passion, Drive, Discipline Continuous Improvement / Operational Excellence Dirty Fingernail Growth Focused

Onsite Medical Technician
The Medical Technician serves as a critical healthcare professional responsible for maintaining employee health, safety, and wellness within our facility. This position combines emergency medical response, occupational health services, regulatory compliance, and preventive care programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
Primary Responsibilities
Emergency Medical Response & Treatment
- Provide immediate first-aid and emergency medical care to employees who experience illness or injury during work hours
- Conduct thorough assessments of injured or ill employees to determine the severity of conditions and evaluate the need for emergency medical services or additional medical attention
- Document all medical interventions and maintain detailed injury logs in compliance with OSHA recordkeeping requirements
- Perform systematic on-site follow-up evaluations with employees who have sustained work-related injuries, monitoring recovery progress and coordinating return-to-work protocols
- Communicate with supervisors and management regarding employee medical status and work restrictions as appropriate
