Job Description

Extension is seeking a Project Engineer for a direct hire opportunity in Port Washington, WI.

Key Objectives / Role Responsibilities

Design, develop, and enhance production equipment and customer products to provide innovative solutions

Collaborate with customers, plant personnel, and management to complete projects and equipment improvements

Assist sales and management teams with quotes, cost analysis, and technical support

Resolve mechanical and system control issues and provide training for production and maintenance teams

Oversee project execution, including equipment installations, trials, and vendor coordination

Desired Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or related field

3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or contract manufacturing environments

Expertise in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and system controls

Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for all levels of management

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Outlook, and AutoCAD

Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion

Salary Information

$80,000 – $90,000 per year
